CONTENT REFRESH: EMEPELLE SKINCARE

After five years in business, Emepelle struggled to foster genuine connections and growth on social media. They approached us with the goals of attracting the right audience, building a community, and expanding their online presence. Following a content refresh, we helped identify their content pillars, guided their creative direction, and revamped their feed to deliver a more aesthetic and cohesive look.

Key Opportunities

1. Lack of Content Strategy

The brand has been posting without a defined content strategy, simply aiming to maintain an online presence rather than engage its audience meaningfully

2. Cluttered Feed

At first glance, the feed appears cluttered due to excessive text overlays, lacking a clear visual direction

3. Overall Cohesiveness & Aesthetic

Although the brand positions itself as a luxury skincare line, its overall aesthetic and presentation fail to convey the premium price point effectively

4. Missing Human Connection

The feed relies heavily on graphics and stock imagery, missing the opportunity to create a genuine connection to the luxurious skincare experience.

5. Overuse of Stock Images

Overusing stock images diminishes the brand’s authenticity making it blend in with generic skincare brands rather than standing out as a luxurious, premium choice.

6. Lack of Engaging Creative

The feed lacks relatability and connection, making it difficult to engage an organic audience effectively

Creative Strategy

Sharable Posts:

These types of posts encourage users to interact through likes, comments, and shares, helping the brand reach a wider audience. Additionally, consistently sharing valuable and digestible information builds trust, positioning the brand as an authority in its niche. Content like routines or tips also encourages users to save posts for future reference, driving long-term engagement.

Include Human Elements:

Human elements enhance storytelling, allowing the brand to convey a narrative that resonates emotionally with the audience. This, in turn, encourages higher levels of interaction, as people are more likely to engage with content that feels genuine and personal.

Educational Carousels:

Educational carousels are a powerful tool for helping brands grow and foster community on social media by providing valuable, actionable information that establishes the brand as an expert in its field. This format encourages users to engage more deeply by spending time swiping through each slide, leading to increased likes, comments, and shares, which boosts visibility.

UGC:

Incorporating UGC and influencer content on social media helps brands connect with their audience in a genuine way. It builds trust and encourages engagement by showcasing real customers and their experiences. Plus, it expands reach by introducing the brand to new audiences through trusted voices. Ultimately, this approach boosts conversions and fosters a sense of community, making the brand feel more relatable and inviting!
